Our design brief was to create a stunning home that serves as both a luxury property and a private retreat, maximising our client’s investment while ensuring their personal enjoyment.
KLD were engaged by our client to create a peaceful retreat to provide a haven of calmness for their family and guests to enjoy. We were inspired by the surrounding woodlands and meadows which helped form a palette of materials and finishes that were reflected in the colours and texture of the local environment but still embraced modernity and luxury.
This property was thoughtfully designed from the ground up to accommodate a family with five daughters, creating a perfect space for joyful family gatherings. The layout and features emphasise shared moments and togetherness.
Working for an international client with no previous experience of handling such projects in the UK, who put total trust in KLD requiring us to take full control of all aspects of the refurbishment of this dilapidated apartment. Working within the constraints of a Grade II listing, the apartment was restored back to its former glory achieving a perfect combination of both period and modern-day features to create an exceptional home becoming of this beautiful property.
